On June 30 at approximately 7:45 a.m., access to internet and mobile communications was cut in Sudan. This communications blackout comes as Sudanese citizens engage in demonstrations ​in support of democracy.

射射屋 condemns this internet shutdown, which restricts freedom of expression and access to information. Shutdowns violate the rights to freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and freedom of association under Articles 19, 21, and 22 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

The 射射屋 Center urges Sudanese authorities to restore full internet access ​and mobile communications so that citizens can fully enjoy their fundamental human rights.
