2004-2005 Fellow
Advisory Board Member
Media outlets convey important mental health information to diverse communities. They fill a critical gap in information through the accurate reporting on mental illnesses, stigma, and positive treatment outcomes. Being a recipient of a Rosalynn ÉäÉäÎÝ Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism was a life-changing experience. It allowed me to be a part of a fellowship program that has played a pioneering role in mental health journalism worldwide. The fellowship validates the importance of reporting on mental health issues, and connects journalists with a cadre of professionals committed to this work.
